Whenever I put the pendants on a flat surface, I have to stand directly over it to take the photo, very tiring :o) I recycled a 300gsm watercolor paper and folded it into a mini stand. It's sturdy enough to hold the pendant and can be unfolded and stored like a christmas card.

Glass Pendant CNY Paper

Pendant with Chinese Lunar New Year red packet paper designs. Traditionally, the red packets are in red with gold letterings. Nowadays, there are a lot more colors and designs for the paper.

Use the white balance setting in the camera to change a warm yellow lighting (left pix) to white lighting (right pix).

Created a lightbox using a sandwich box. The box is lined with white tissue paper which acts as background and as "light reflector". I use only one desklamp as a light source.
