Went shopping the other day and saw some pretty Japan imported fabrics. I used my late grandfather's Singer sewing machine to make the little purse. Yup, one of those human powered "pedal like crazy" treadle sewing machine. One of these days, I will take a photo of the machine and upload it here. :) I can solder pendants, cut glass blah blah blah blah but using the sewing machine drives me bonkers. The threads kept breaking halfway, so I went online to see if there are any resources on "how to sew using an antique machine without loosing one's sanity". No solution yet......

Attack of the Butterfly

See the tiny little butterfly? I saw it sunbathing on the leaves and thought finally a subject that is NOT fluttering all over the place. Guess I spend too much time getting too close to it cos' it actually tried to attack my camera twice.

The other side has tinned copperwire wirework design on top of a copper sheet. The glass pendant is handcut, grinded and soldered together using Canfield silvergleem leadfree solder.
