Amateur Mint planting

I bought a potted mint plant.  Plants usually don't last long under my care (orchids, basil, parsley..all went kaput...), but mint is suppose to be hardy...but just in case...I cut 4 sprigs off the main plant and planted them in soil. yup me bad, thought they are like Rosemary plant. The photo on the left shows the poor things in the morning after their soil ordeal. Found out I have to put the them in water and let it root before planting them back in soil.  The photo on right shows them looking all minty  again...phew...

Kimbap Goodness!

Things fall apart (reminds me of the title of a book we read in school)....can't seem to roll them tight enough and little pieces of food start slipping out when i cut the rolls! Made the kimbap with two kinds of seasoned rice, one with sesame oil and salt (receipe from Maangchi) and another with vinegar , sugar and salt (receipe from BeyondKimchee). Both taste good :)
